Not bad ideas you have here. Tho a field jacket doesn't really count as light armor perhaps the Vietnam era flak jacket would have been more appropriate.

The Modular Tac. Vest can also be modified for the medic armor as well just add a MOLLE backpack with a red cross emblem on the pack.
