I see well im finishing up my grunt skins so either today or tomorrow ill post it here. After that ill just be focusing on the players & armors & then finish up with the weapons.

Tho a part of me also wants to make some beta themed players & weapons just for the fun of it

@Starkkz, that's awesome. But you should sharpen the hornets that the A. Grunt is shooting and probably add legs. But overall, it's awesome like hell.

Indeed those can be achieved by applying some Lua scripting functionality to the entity Env_Hurt and labeling each type of 'hurt' entities with their respective 'hurt name', so when you are stepping on a tile with the entity with (i.e. 'hurt name' radiation or ice) it'll trigger the function for it's respective 'hurt name' within the Lua script itself, along with some graphics on the HUD this'll look very good. Well, you get the idea.

Barnacles actually can be included in the mod via simple transparent sprites & map entity's. I was experimenting with something like that a few months ago.

Basically the barnacle sprite is very transparent & overlays the player & other objects so its hard for the player to notice it. Under it there is a move trigger entity that once crossed will trap the player with 4-6 breakable invisible (transparent) walls.

The player can only get out by breaking one of the walls which in turn kills the barnacle & breaks the rest of the walls via triggers & also leaving a more visible barnacle sprite & some blood & gib sprites under it.

Once the player is trapped he will have 3 sec. before the barnacle starts dealing damage at 25 HP per sec. via a damage entity.

I'm also thinking about a way to limit the trap down to one tile space with out the use of lua. Tho I still need to play around with the concept to see if its viable.

On BMP it's okay the size 16x16 would be good, i'll make it light with the colors RGB: 255 255 0.

HHmmm those hazard icons i suggest that the lua is just a tile position lua, you know if you step into a tile/s you have a sprite in the screen
