As for NTD he is completely unresponsive lately so yea I might have to start mapping from well almost scratch.
I primarily have test maps and experimental tiles in development in regards to the maps and my 3D top down player, weapon, and item pack is right around 80% working atm. Development has slowed due to the fact im also playing/modding black Mesa

Its surprising how many errors and bugs were aloud to be left in the initial release version of the mod
Trying to animate and fix the weapons but its a pain as the view model rig and the models bones them selves are just plain shit. In all honesty after seeing the rig and models im not surprised why it took them 8 years to develop only half the game thus far
No disrespect to the BM team it just goes to show how much work such a remake of a game is ...

Starkkz have scripted a nice Lua NPC system previously. He could bring this mod back to life any day imho. We need more crowbar though!

I think that mod needs mappers too. I don't see what
Phenixtri is doing. Feels that nothing new.

Flacko could perhaps create some great Lua scripts which will turn your head around for this mod. I admire him, his a good guy and if he could script anything nice for this mod this Half Life 2D project would get finished sometime soon. As it seems to not get finished ever, lol. Im currently messing around with weapons, items, and equipment to make them work with my new players ... trial and error testing at this point.

I had to upload it a bit earlier than I wanted but meh what ever. You guys wanted progress then here it is and trust me I have alot more where this is coming from all WIP of course.

Phenixtri has writtenYea im just not gona deal with the immature bullshit anymore and seeing as im currently preoccupied with making concept art for Northern Resistance and getting my associates degree I have decided to put the development of HL2D on hold indefinitely.
Perhaps one day ill return and remake the mod as a proper stand alone game based on the old CS2D 1.0 open source but who knows.

useigor: You should really take over this mod because you always finish stuff we request and I know you will get this mod done. Phenixtri have this: "-deleted-". So if he will not answer i'll create a new thread for hl2d in any case.Also thanks for support.
