The server can't be the problem because other people can play fine there. My connection can't be the problem because I can play fine on other servers. So why does it still occur?
I really like to play on these servers because they are mostly filled with other players. So 'just play on another server' is not much of a satisfying solution for me.
Any idea's on what could be the cause of this situation? Maybe a solution?

No... once again it's not that simple.

Mayby youre far away? More Distance=higher ping.
If the Server is in europe an your life in australia you got a higher Ping then someone who plays from europe, too
the dont has to be the reason, but that should explain why you have laggs on this server, but other people can play fine on it. and it explains why you can play fine on other servers, too
you could try to ping the server IP to see the connection quality (packet loss and that stuff). maybe I'm wrong and it's a weird bug of CS2D.
@Pyro, you should've watched the video...
I think it's problems within gateway nodes, transferring packets at a lesser speed or due to upload/download rates and limits, perhaps this could affect the packet send/receive speed leading to packet losses. But I'm not sure either. I'm quite sure it has to do with switches and all these telecommunication stuff.
It's quite normal that you get lag spikes sometimes. I have it with every game because my connection is just so shite.
One thing that I have found that occurs more often in this patch is that i often time out, my ping goes up from 800 -> 10.000 and i can still see other players walk.

so at least one of the routing points between your PC and that server seems to be overloaded/"damaged". I'm sorry but I don't think that there is much you can do about that - solution in this case would be to wait.

This was the solution. I waited and a routing point was fixed. Now I can play with just as much lag as the others ;). It'd be good if a moderator could close the topic so that people can find the answer in the last post.
