I don't know if You remember me, but my name is Tomasz "CaLiBRe" Mendyk. I've created PCL league and european turnament organization called PCS Project. For many ages I was a main admin od cs2d.pl site.

I'm writing to You because the latest situation on Cs2D stage is not in good condition. No opportunity to make a fair play turnament kills the game society and it's providing that more and more players are resigning of playing that game. I'm realizing that the question of safety was mentioned many times but I'm not writing to You strict with that topic but just make a proposition of solution which, in my opinion, will help to make the final version of the game. It also could be a good way to make improovments thtrough your studio and promote it as well.

The idea was to add Cs2d to kickstarter.com . Thaks to that developer may count for the donation to their projects. Cs2d already has huge base of fans who can have an ability to donate this project. Morwover i`m sure that the sociiety of kickstarter would love to play that game, especially when we look on the procjects that have been already donated.

I know that youre treating cs2d as your hobb, and i know youre trying do your best to make a project better. Also the game has huge potential and the apogeum of the fun was on PCL v 5 in 2009 where we could have really fare play game. We were having fun for 9 months plaing more than 140 league matches. Now we don't have this because of hacks. We are trying to fight with this but without success. (Guardian, CheatGuard, etc.)

Donation like that would give You an opportunity to improve the safety system in this fantastic game and rebuit the society. I hope that You will agree fot that idea because You can count for a fans support. We all miss the climat of full optimistic rivalization, and now it's impossible to play a good game even on public servers.

I really like that idea of donation, but the huge problem is gonna rise after donating the money. Where is it gonna go? DC already stated that he is working alone on this project so hiring coders is out of option. Using money on creating a cheatguard V2 won't help at all because despite how good all those anti-cheat programs are, they cannot help because they can be easily passed by because they are not integrated into the whole system...

Moreover community isn't dieing in my opinion. It is just a summer holidays, people in a good state of mind are not gonna spend hundreds of hours to play a game instead of going outside... Just wait till the mid September and majority will return to the game.

U should see community in 2009. Is a pity that did not play in the league then bcs then you would see the difference. I see that right now very clearly.

This game got huge potential, but there should be more ways to introduce it to new possible interested people.

CaLiBRe's idea isnt bad shows dedication for a game that whoever played loved it from the beginning. He has put effort so many years, ingame he's respected and he isnt talking about things for nothing. Worth of listening.

Even if DC doesnt likes the particural one, at least having in mind an idea to promote more this game it's worth of trying.

Please DC, think about this first, not decline the idea too fast.

Tell this to other proffessional players of cs1.6, LoL, WoW, SC or whatever. Unfortunately, there is a mega problem. It's called HACKS. There are few programists that tried to make fair anti-cheat program like Guardian, CheatGuard. Azereus got crashed as well. So the only way to enable the full security is - exchanging the source code of the game, making the anti-cheat programs co-op with it. The hacks would have to be really advanced to pass through it. Also - if new versions of the game came faster and the programists knew about them, they could uptade anti-cheats. It would make the hackers remake their hacks which would discourage them from doing that.
The project @ kickstarter could give, you, DC an ability to hire staff or cooperate with programists. I don't understand, why you Sir don't want the cooperation.? You could achieve a lot!
