Time says, but I'm also pretty sure that it won't require a constant internet connection to play - you would still be able to play single player without it. Time: read more carefully, he asked about Stranded 3.@
Unknown variable: as with DC's other games that can be played online AND offline (CS2D, CC), Stranded 3 will surely be the same. there's no reason for him to implement it any other way.so you'd only need to be online when you want to play in multiplayer mode.

1) Download from the official page
2) Install
3) Play
There isn't going to be any of those online installation crap. Don't worry, I hate it too.

Well it turns out S3 might have multiplayer but I'm pretty sure there will still be singleplayer so no, you will most likely not need an internet connection.
Time: The user explicitly asked about Stranded III and when you were talking about all Stranded games then you gave wrong information because it has already been announced that Stranded III will indeed have a multiplayer mode. So there is no reason to talk to Hurri04 in such an offending and impolite way and to call him a smartass. Maybe you should take a look at the rules again.Just to confirm this:
A regular download will always be available too, no matter which other download options I may provide Game will work without internet connection (as long as you play singleplayer only)
