Server side colors? That sounds wild No, user mode colors are just part of the stylesheet like (nearly) everything else. That's one of the things I improved. I can and will adjust them easily per style. "Mr. Brightside" is pretty "beta" and not as optimized as the default style. Still needs some tweaking.

Some changelog tags would be really hard to read without the black background. That's why I introduced that background. I'll try to use CSS image filters to make them darker. Then I can probably remove the dark background.

Edit: Tweaked it a bit. User modes and changelog icons should look better now with the "Mr. Brightside" style.

Weird behaviour with code tags?

This exact code structure is posted at the bottom
1
2
Some code text line 1
Code text line 2 - seems to work, huh?

∗ Probably not a bug
- Bug #1 code=plain doesnt show any code box at all
This is code=plain text - I dont have any fancy borders around me :(

∗ I opened the box of pandora and Im sorry about it. But I cant keep it for myself
- #2 Having 2 empty code texts after each other will only show 1 code box:
1
[/code]

- #3 Multiple code tags nested inside more tag result in unexpected behaviour
[code][_ict~!]|code outside more tag
More >

- #4 Empty code texts inside more-tags result in "No Preview possible - Erroneous tags!" after using empty code tag.
What I mean is this exact post (you have to replace the <,> with [,] - I cant trust any code tag at this point, not even code=plain :3 )
<code></code>
<more><code></code></more>

The exact post with proper [,] :
------------
1
More >

------------
(You can quote this post and see that I used the BB tags correctly)
This bug only "occurs" when I dont include Bug #3 inside this post
Please just copy&paste everything inside the '------------' (from the quote function ofc!!) without any other BB tags to reproduce it - it will look like Bug #3 with this weird _ict~! tag

So Bug #4 changes behaviour when I include Bug #3 in this post (<=> Bug #4 looks differently when not including Bug #3 in the same post)

[code][_ict~!]|Some code text line 1
Code text line 2 - seems to work, huh?

Yep, bug #1 is not a bug. The sole purpose of "code=plain" is to not display any formatting. This can be used to simply prevent formatting if you want to show something but don't want to make it look like code.

Regarding all your other findings:
Code tags are ugly. They need to be handled in a special way causing weird behavior. Very interesting stuff you found there. Luckily it's not very relevant. I don't see a reason why anyone would use empty code tags intentionally. Nesting them might make more sense - if you want to demonstrate how the code tag works for instance. Or in this case here to demonstrate a bug. Thanks for sharing. Will put this stuff on my list but it has a lower prio.

• Bug 1: The "Locked" (or whatever word that was similar) string is currently left untranslated in English locale.

• Bug 2: The page numbers have a white background which it makes harder to see them when using Google Search.

@user GeoB99: Fixed bug 1, will try to fix the Google stuff later.

@user mrc: Good point... I decided to remove the like ratio. It was a bad idea to display it. It most likely would have caused more trouble in future.

Thanks!

btw: You might have noticed it already but I made all the title/section texts of forum/file archive stuff gray (black). They're now only green when there's something new. This should make it much easier to spot new content (works a bit better with the default style than with the brigth one, sorry).

@user Marcell: Because of rank colors are server side. user DC should make bbcode for them

Unless he stores CSS or HTML in the database that can't be right, it would be stupid, too.

I believe that this URL
https://unrealsoftware.de/getuserdata.php?id=ID&data=modetxt
was returning user's rank name in HTML with colors. Now the URL respond with 500 http code, so I can't confirm it now.

So for sure backend had to respond with rank html code, so that's why I have said it's/was server-sided.

Oh damn. I forgot about that. Yes, you are right. The colors were in code. It's now CSS so.. this feature is kind of broken and has no color anymore - unless you copy the stylesheet. There also was another bug which caused the 500 error code. That's fixed now.

Quoting the last post sometimes just doesn't work.
You get the question if you are sure you wanna quote the last post or just answer without quotation.
Yes and No gives you the same result, not quoting the post and just leaving an "@user: 00000" in the textbox.

@user mrc: Thanks. Fixed. The forwarding section wasn't displayed for users which were already logged in. (btw: I removed all auto forwarding from the page because it's considered bad practice and because it may hide relevant post-login info in this particular case)

@user Chingy: I can't reproduce it. Do you have a sample thread where it can be reproduced? Which browser are you using?

Being user I'm having this button to remove ban.
REMOVED

No problem I can't remove it, a click just route me to my profile, but this button is useless for "User".

It would be better if the buttons in the sticky menu on mobile devices all were of the same size and were displayed as icons rather than text, or maybe as icons with text (as in YouTube Android app).

Also, there's a silly gap between the "Community" button and the language selection menu. Phones are small, such gaps are waste of space.

The "Up" button in the bottom right corner is too big compared to the profile picture and other elements of the sticky menu (on mobile devices).

Another nitpick for mobile version: links in the footer are displayed in 6 rows instead of 2, and there are useless gaps, too.

There's a typo on the Stats page, in the section "Data":
Quote
*) counts twice in the average, as 2 users are involved in each

Should say "*" and not "*)".

The Unreal Software logo in the header should display the dropdown menu on hover (as it does now), and open the Home page once you click on it (it doesn't now).

As of the posting form, it may be more user-friendly to rename the "Spam Cooldown™" timer to something like "Please wait X seconds before submitting". Also, the Submit button is on the left side for some reason? Yikes! I almost clicked the "Preview" button instead while trying to post this, so that's not user-friendly IMHO. Please move it to the right.

Icons are not as easy to understand as text so I chose text. Icons with text would take too much space on slim devices.

That's because the menus are left aligned and the profile and langauge selection right aligned. Just like in the desktop version. I get the point though. It probably makes sense to move the menu more to the right. And maybe to even move the language button completely to the left because it is used less often. That would probably improve usability on mobile. Will try that out.

Very valid point. Will fine tune the size a bit!

Could optimize space usage there, that's true. It's not really a problem though as this is the footer area and you have to scroll down to see it. So it doesn't really take up space which would be required for anything else.

Regarding "*)": I did this by intention and I saw it elsewhere but I guess you're right. Changed that.

This was already suggested by others. Doesn't work on mobile for obvious reasons. I could add that to the desktop version though.

Spam Cooldown: I think it's quite obvious but I may adjust it.

Submit/Preview button order: Very good point. Will probably swap their positions. I didn't consider that the primary option should be on the right for mobile (and it not being there doesn't actually bother me as I'm lefthanded...)
