EmoCosin:In 2023,i found an server in Singapore can got lower ping, when i in GuangDong(30-40ping).So i should said that people probably can hold an competition in asia area.In the past few years, based on the numbers of players, some servers owner try to set beginneer server and rank server to distinguish players but no one wants to play with bots.In recent years, computer are getting cheaper and cheaper, only need below 2500RMB then you can get an computer ,which play cs2 above 200fps,no one wants to play this old game i should say. It is very disappointing...In the years following the COVID period there was at least one server where a decent number of players were online and the game was still playable. Now there is nothing. have never seen such a level of inactivity before.
The loyal players from the community where I was, like me, have since grown up, started families, and had children were the ones who kept the game alive for many years. But now, even that is gone..
Ping me up on Steam (see Profile) if the game becomes active again at some point in case anyone is still reading this!!
This game really needs publicity, but how do we reach all those people? The game is free and funded advertising isn't, donations, cosmetics?
I have a feeling the game needs an update, but not just any update; it needs one that somehow helps gain users in the healthiest way possible.
This game still has a lot of potential, but I think the product is being offered in the wrong way.
I have a lot of faith in this game, in the developers and its community. I feel we can return to the golden era, but I think the game needs to adapt to modern times—a rework, but not too invasive.
guys, you really need to leave things go
cs2d was amazing for its time, now is outdated, needs a new face and a lot of time for uncertainty on its payout
I do think DC is capable of creating a successful game for todays market, he has been ahead of his time before, it's just natural, but HIS attention is elsewhere, let the guy enjoy himself and just be thankful he created a game that gave us a TON of FREE enjoyment.
The other way around is make it yourself, stop pretending other people to do what you can't, learn it and do it yourself if you got the time and resources.
