Video Card Compatibility
4 replies Well so, a friend of mine is tired of his crappy computer (as so, am i) and he wants a new video-card, he found one that is good enough and with a low price: Nvidia GeForce GT520, i know it's not THAT good but in Brazil this shit is expensive as hell, and better ones are even more expensive.
His motherboard is the following, but i am still looking for his power source model:
Ze motherboard: GA-G31M-S2L (link)
And the video card he is pretending to buy:
Nvidia GeForce GT520 (link)
(sorry but i couldn't find this in another language, the specs are in english thought...)
Are they compatible? I need a true answer quickly because the sale ends tomorrow at morning.
Thanks EP User

yes they are compatible, the socket of the motherboard is okey with the video card
Ok, info updated, his Power Source has 450W of power. Will it feed the video-card properly? EP User

Hmmm The video card works with 300W minimum, don't worry, it will not explode, yes it will feed it but the temperature will up, THIS VIDEO CARD CANNOT SUPPORT MORE THAN 102°C 102°C is enough to make my whole CPU melt, so no worries.
Thank you for the help.
