Why should I? I made this poll for users, not for IT Pros. + I need it for Unreal Software Wiki.
This is simple shit.
NPCs are a special type of "dynamic objects" (which are also used for buildings and mines) hostages have their own class which is totally unrelated.
the reason for this is that hostages have been implemented in the very beginning of CS2D when dynamic objects (buildings and NPCs) were not even planned yet.
From a purely technical perspective, I'm fairly certain hostages don't count as dynamic objects with the type ID 30, thus not being CS2D NPCs per se.
