Hi there.
For years ive been having a shit of a pc and decided to save up money and upgrade it a little, but the problem is i dont know if the new processor ,gfx and ram will conflict with themselfs and/or with the motherboard.

Old specs:
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
512MB DDR2 RAM
Pentium 4 3.00 GHz
MSI PM8PM-V (MS-7222) Motherboard

Possible upgrade:
NVIDIA GeForce GT430 (700MHz)
Dual Core E5700 3.00 GHz
2X1 GB DDR2 RAM (800MHz)

I will sell my old GFX,RAM and processor at the local net market but il keep my motherboard.

If someone knows if my motherboard can hold these components (gfx, processor, ram) please reply here or if you think a problem could apear then also reply here.

For all those who help thx in advance

P.S. If you need more info about anything just ask.

your motherboard won't hold these components. your motherboard doesn't have the right socket for the processor and also, an old motherboard rarely has a PCI-E slot for your new graphics card.

everything's fine about your upgrades, but it's essential for you to get a new motherboard (atleast within 3 years) because of basic upgrades in new computer parts (DDR3, DPCI-E etc.). a new motherboard for your need costs around 100-120€, shouldn't be such a big deal for a 3-year investment.
