Well you really didn't miss anything... the last mapping contest (long time ago) never resulted in anything. About 20 maps were submitted, but the website for it went out of date and no map(s) were picked as winners. It was a total failure.

But it would be nice if UnrealSoftware (DC) would organize a mapping contest, preferably for the new CS2D, when it is nearing release.

But everything is up in the air, so it's pointless to fantasize at the moment.
